Thanks to the generosity of the Friends of the Worcester Public Library we are fortunate to be able to offer a wide range of passes for free or reduced admission to local and regional attractions. With the help of the library pass program, you and your family can explore new places and revisit favorites.
Take a look at our museum pass brochure here. You may reserve a pass online with your library card number and pin. If you do not have a pin number, please call the library. You can also reserve a pass by calling one of the libraries at 508-799-1655 ext. 3 (Main Library), 508-799-1687 (Frances Perkins Branch Library) or 508-799-1729 (Great Brook Valley Branch Library) or you may reserve a pass while you are visiting the Library.
Each branch of the Worcester Public Library offers different passes. Keep in mind the Frances Perkins Branch and the Great Brook Valley Branch are not open Saturdays and Sundays. If you reserve a weekend pass from one of these branches, you will need to pick it up on a weekday.
Patrons must have their library card or photo identification to pick up Museum Passes.

FAQs about Museum Passes
Can I reserve a pass if I don't live in Worcester?
Yes, passes are available to anyone age 18 and older with a valid card in good standing from any member library of the C/W MARS network. If you have an overdue fine of more than $10 on your card, it must be paid before the pass can be taken.
When and where can I pick up my reserved pass?
Passes can be picked up at the Circulation Desk of the Library where the reservation is made the day before you are going to use the pass. It must be returned the next day after use before 11:00 am. Coupon passes will not need to be returned.
What happens if I return a pass after it is due?
Any pass returned after 11:00 am the next day will be charged an Overdue Fine of $5.00 per day to a maximum of $20. If a pass is returned so late the next patron in line cannot have it, an additional Inconvenience Fee of $15.00 will be charged. The fee for a lost pass is $30.00.
May I return a pass in the outdoor return bins?
It is safer if passes are returned in person at the Circulation Desk. This is better for you and better for the pass. If it is not possible for you to return the pass inside then you may put it in the outdoor return bins. Make sure the pass envelope is closed before dropping it into the bin.
Is it possible to reserve more than one pass at a time?
Only one pass can be reserved at a time. As soon as you return the pass you have out, you may make a reservation for another pass.
