Youth Serving Organizations

 
Worcester Youth Center - Worcester Youth Center has provided a safe space for education, health and recreation programs for inner city youth. The only free teen “drop-in” center with structured programs and support groups in Worcester, it serves more than 900 young people ages 14 to 24 each year.
 
Bottom Line - Bottom Line helps low-income and first-generation-to-college students get to and through college. We are committed to building strong connections with our students, providing them with individual support, and ensuring they have the guidance needed to earn a college degree.
 
Upward Bound - the Upward Bound Program at Worcester State University is designed to encourage eligible Worcester Public High School students to persist in school through graduation and to seek a postsecondary education.  Included in this category are students who are first-generation, ALANA, and low-income.
 
Let's Get Ready - Let's Get Ready provides low-income high school students with free SAT preparation, admissions counseling and other support services needed to gain admission to and graduate from college. Trained college student volunteers deliver these services and offer encouragement, inspiration and confidence.
 
Latino Education Institute The Latino Education Institute (LEI) at Worcester State University (WSU) is located in Worcester, Massachusetts and was founded in 2000 by a partnership of community leaders to provide outcomes-based development programs in education, literacy, leadership, civic engagement and health. Our mission is to improve the academic achievement and well-being of Latino students (grades K-16).
 
Boys & Girls Club - Our Mission is to help youth, especially those who need us most, develop the qualities needed to become responsible citizens and community leaders, through caring professional staff who forge relationships with our youth members and influence their ability to succeed in life.
 
Friendly House -  Friendly House/Settlement House (multi-service center) works with entire families both nuclear and extended, as an integrating force for the families and the Neighborhood(s) it serves.  Friendly House provides a continuum of comprehensive coordinated neighborhood basic services to inner-city families.
 
LUK, Inc.- LUK's mission is to challenge and support youth, families and adults to recognize and fulfill their unique and productive potential through community-based prevention, intervention and education services.
 
Y.O.U., Inc. - Hopes to provide youth and families with opportunities to fulfill their potential and build a brighter future.
