March Program Highlights

This month at the Tatnuck Magnet Branch, we’ll host Rad Robots: Robotics Demo with local community member and former engineer Howard Drake on Saturday, March 3 at 10:30 a.m. Are you crazy about cyborgs? Bonkers for bionics? Join us for a robotics demonstration as we learn about robots built from LEGO “Mindstorms” kits, including talking turtle robots that can read, and a robot that carries the Earth around the Sun to show the four seasons. We’ll learn what skills are required to build a robot, then play with the robots ourselves! Ages 7+ and their families.

You will also want to hop on over for a spring Egg Hunt on Friday, March 23 at 3 p.m. Ages 12 and under. Participants must check-in and receive the “rules” and an egg hunt bag. Please arrive early, as space and supplies are limited. Hunts begin promptly at the listed times.

We’ll also have Make and Take, Construction Club, and Game On.

*Sponsored by the Friends of the Worcester Public Library.
